Made to disappear.

A tool isn’t judged by what it does. It’s judged by what it lets you do.

That’s what we’re after. Here’s how it happened.

In the autumn of 2025, Xnovate was born. No co-founder. No investor. Just a clear, almost blunt intention: to shake up a market that no longer dares.

That intention came from a frustration. Mainstream brands think about office work, gaming brands think about players, and too few really think about the people whose job is to carry a thought through a screen — fast, precisely, without friction.

For designers, video makers, illustrators, developers. For creatives in the broadest sense. For those who spend eight, ten, twelve hours a day creating.

It’s for them we were born.

The name

The name arrived in October 2025. Not from an academic study with a branding consultant, but from a founder alone, testing out loud, crossing out, writing and starting over.

The X first, because it carries the future and nonconformity. Then novate, from the Latin root novare — to innovate, to renew — close enough to innovate to put innovation at the heart of the name, distinct enough not to be a bland derivative of it.

Xnovate. Meant to carry innovation, chosen for that, registered in November 2025. The name has an immediate meaning from day one. It also holds a second one, whose existence no one has yet noticed — and which will only reveal itself a few months later.

It also holds a second one, whose existence no one has yet noticed.

The first star

The first product launches in November 2025.

Keynova One

A compact mechanical keyboard with built-in LCD keys and customizable dials: it clears the desk and, above all, opens up a depth of control a regular keyboard can’t offer — as many shortcuts, settings and actions as you want, at your fingertips.

A format few brands had dared bring to the public, and which already spoke Xnovate’s philosophy: to give more while taking less.

The name is built like the brand’s, from the same intention.

Key for keyboard — direct, functional.
Nova taken from Xnovate, to anchor the product in the brand.
One to signify first of the line, inaugural.

Here too, the name has a clear meaning from the start. Here too, it holds a second one no one notices.

The revelation — May 1, 2026

On May 1, 2026, while working on the naming of the first product entirely imagined and developed by Xnovate, the detail no one had ever noticed appears.

Until then, the name carried innovation. That day, it revealed a second one: a second reading, invisible from the very start.

A nova was the name once given to a new star appearing in the sky. We now know the star was already there, and that its sudden blaze is what makes it visible; but the image has stayed intact — a nova is a light being born.

And X, in astronomy as in mathematics, stands for the unknown.

Read this way, Xnovate takes on another meaning: to bring a light to life in the places no one had dared to illuminate.

And Keynova takes on the same second reading. Key is also the key. Keynova: the key-star. The first star of the Xnovate galaxy. The one that opened the system.

The system was there, latent, from day one. Like the nova, it was simply waiting for the moment to become visible — and it revealed itself just when the brand needed it most: when it came to naming the product that would stake its future. As if it had waited until it had a system to carry before revealing its own.

to bring a light to life in the places no one had dared to illuminate.

The system

Xnovate is now building its galaxy.

Each product is a new star — a point of light appearing where the market had offered nothing convincing.

Like the creative themselves, who can make visible a beauty no one else could have seen.

Connected on a creative’s desk, these stars form a constellation: a unique setup, configured by each person to their hand, their habits, their craft.

No setup looks like another — no more than one sky looks like another, seen from a different point on Earth.

No setup looks like another.

The standard

And there’s what this system quietly carries with it: a standard. Before being the realm of dreams, astronomy is the science of precision — to tell apart two points of light separated by light-years, it plays out to a thousandth of a degree. And the creative, with the same demand, reworks their piece to the pixel — until the balance is perfect.

The same precision, at the other end of the scale.

We know this standard from the inside, because we come from that world. A creative is a perfectionist by nature: they rework, they refine, they fix down to the detail no one else will notice — because they couldn’t do otherwise. It’s with this same exact standard that we design our products.

That’s all we promise. And it’s the only way to shake up a market that no longer dares.

What comes next

The second star is called Cursa One. The first born entirely from our imagination — the one that asked the most of us, and into which we poured the most of ourselves. Its campaign opens September 1, 2026.

While we’re still shaping this star — before it changes your universe.

The right moment to follow us is now.
